SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) training covers day-to-day administration tasks in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server environments.
As with all SUSE Linux certifications, course work is not required. Once you have reviewed the relevant objectives, you only need to pass that particular certification test in order to achieve the certification. Having stated the conditions for achieving the certification, we highly recommend you study the objectives and practice anything that you are not prepared to perform from memory and experience on live systems.
In the remote proctored environment, question-based exams such as the SCA in Enterprise Linux 11 cost $149 and practicum exams such as the SCA in Enterprise Linux (2018 Update) and the SCE in Enterprise Linux cost $195.
Each candidate must submit the SUSE Linux Training Services Certification Agreement before certification can be awarded. There are two methods for submitting this agreement, the one we recommend most is that you take advantage of submitting the agreement when you test by clicking on the appropriate Agreement selection before the exam start.
Additionally, if you wish to review the agreement before taking an exam, the agreement can be viewed and downloaded and once signed, the form returned to SUSE.

Note: The SCA in Enterprise Linux replaces the Certified Linux Administrator (CLA), with no changes in the objectives, training courses or certification exams.
