RH423 jest zaprojektowane dla osób o kompetencjach RHCE które będą uruchamiały system usług katalogowych z wykorzystaniem Red Hat Directory Server.
Od podstaw działania, poprzez konfigurację, do zarządzania systemów opartych o protokół LDAP. Ponadto omawiane są mechanizmy PAM i ich integracja z usługami katalogowymi. Ścieżka RHCE dostarcza podstawową wiedzę i umiejętności wymagane na tym kursie.
